Don't be fooled
24.6. In 2020 we arrived at 8 o'clock in the field to buy fresh strawberries. They weren't in the sales stand yet, so we waited for them to bring them out of the field. We bought for CZK 1006 and CZK 720. The price of CZK 120 / kg seemed a bit high. But the belief prevailed that we were buying freshly collected. However, the disappointment at home was huge when taking over. They could not be used for freezing. And for jam only with an unreasonably high waste. The condition of the strawberries was such that they could not be freshly picked. We recommend everyone to either self-harvest or return the bad strawberries on the spot and demand quality when you are already weighing your way to the field. In our case 20 km one way.

Great rush of collectors, but otherwise slaďounká delicacy
Strawberries sold for 80 CZK per kilo. At the moment, they can be bought at the store for the same price, where you do not have to buy them min. 2 kg and they were overripe, so we had to use them the next day. For me, this self-picking was a big disappointment and the next time I buy a shop ...
