The natural monument represents an abandoned quarry after mining porcelanite with a small pool. The local porcelanity was caused by the subsequent firing of the original clays during the burn-out of the lignite seam, probably with the participation of natural gas leaks. Some of the sidewalks in the chateau park in Buchlovice are emptied by them. Expertise: A unique example of jasper porcelainites in a full profile, a single occurrence in Central Moravia and one of three localities in Europe. Internationally important geological locality for paleogeography of tertiary and quaternary :-)
