Obec Jiříkovice

The landscape around the mound of peace formed by the villages of Jiříkovice, Blažovice, Prace and Ponětovice, merged into the Peace Mound microregion, has the simple beauty of the peaceful Moravian countryside. This slightly curvaceous fertile area east of Brno, with round backs and shallow valleys of small rivers, far-flung views and sparkling beauty, has attracted man from prehistoric times. Once inhabited by the inhabited area, its inhabitants gradually deforested, fed up and established several settlements from which gradually evolved today's picturesque villages, surrounded by gardens and orchards.
