Aviation Museum - Deštná

The museum is bigger than it seems. There's a lot of remains of planes and a lot to see. A downside was that there was no English translation for the information sheets.

Interesting place

Although it calls itself an "aviation museum", most of the exhibition is dedicated to aircraft and models that fought in the 2nd SV. Not that it would be to the detriment, but definitely do not expect any analysis of the Concorde affair or why transport planes sometimes crash and there is nothing but a piece of the tail in the Czech government. What I was amazed at was the wreckage of Russian IL-2, because the strength of the sheet raised doubts in me that something like this could ever have risen. Bottom line: 2.SV weapons fans and aviation fans should not miss this venture. P.S .: And you baby !!!!

Look, people, we didn't expect this at all. I don't really know how a small village and an even smaller house and how they stuffed it into it. In any case, we thank the local enthusiasts very much for a pleasant hour spent on a rainy day.

The museum is interesting but intended more for adults who are interested in history. There is a passion for the cause.
