Super
The oldest and uniquely preserved water mill in Bohemia can be found in the village of Hoslovice not far from Strakonice. The first written record of the mill is contained in Berní rula from 1654. Some fragmentary written mentions date the construction of the mill even before the foundation of the village of Hoslovice (this village probably already existed in 1352). A beautiful, usually quiet place with an interesting human story. Definitely worth a visit and will definitely appeal to children as well. After visiting castles, chateaux and museums, it is definitely a possibility of some change. It is also possible here and I highly recommend using the services of a guide, you will learn a lot of interesting things from the life of the last owners of the mill.
Amazing place where time stood still.
The place is nice, but our vacation was the only one where they clearly mind the presence of the dog. I told the gentleman in charge of the operation that I was not feeling well, that our animal was conflict-free and on a leash, and that I did not feel satisfied. He told me that I shouldn't take a dog on vacation, that he certainly suffered from the heat by driving, then he said that my partner and I should take turns at the fence, then named that some visitor may be allergic to the dog and also said that some child of the visitor could hurt the dog. There is also poison in the mill and the dog could eat it. When asked how they have a safe poison from children, he answered that parents are responsible for children. As the first reason why a dog must not be there, he stated that the dog could harm their farm animals. At the same time, their kids cross a stream over stones and sniffed at our dog. In the end, he said that we should have read on the Internet that dogs are not allowed there and should not have gone there. Unfortunately, he was right.
The guide had an interesting explanation. It's nice to see places where fairy tales are filmed.
