Rohozná u Jihlavy, osada Kopaniny

Kopaniny settlement, part of Rohozná village near Jihlava. Typical Vysočina. Far from the city bustle, fantastic peace and quiet. A picturesque valley below the Skála hill. The only road connecting Rohozná and Nový Rychnov (via the Sedlíšťky mini-settlement) and Těšenov on the other side pass through the settlement. The center of the village with a chapel, not even 15 buildings. Old settlers and holiday cottages. There is an effort to keep the original architecture, even though the completely original one has somehow disappeared. A walk around the settlement and its vicinity is the real balm for the soul. Try to imagine a place where for most of the day there is only peace disturbed here and there by the barking of a dog with a maximally released mower or circular saw. You may also encounter free-range poultry on the way. 😀👍 .... yes highlands. The surroundings are mostly forests, from the hill Skála there is a beautiful view of the open slightly undulating landscape. Probably the closest tourist destination is Čertův Hrádek.
