The camping was basically ok but the manager was not really welcoming us since there was a wedding happening the same night. We felt it from the beginning and it ended on Sunday morning when we asked for a warm coffee and to be seated inside. My girl took a shower and had wet hair but they insisted to serve us only outside in the cold, rainy weather. This is not the way you treat guests.

Came across this place by chance as a single day stopover but stayed 2 days as it is really nice. Reviews are personal things and we have just come from a "Holiday Camp" with lots of facilities and hated it. Here we have lots of woodland walks on the doorstep, a really nice 1 hour walk into town on footpaths. Clean if not sumptuous facilities and peace. Love it and would highly recommend. If you want to cycle to the castle largely off road then it's about 20km.

I'm travelling and camping a lot, this one was a very unpleasant experience. Women at reception was unfriendly, I felt I disturb her, no receipt for cash payment. Only a connected Hotel/Restaurant for food and Wifi. 10 minutes after 7pm kitchen closed even other clients wanted to eat too, unfriendly service didn't care, not even some bread, only option leftover piece of cake for dinner. Had to pay at 8:30 and leave restaurant by 9 pm. Wow, you would think in these times they would be happy and want to make business. Not here. Extra fee for shower (even cold water), only a few minutes runtime, in a big group shower room open to general bathroom. Camping like 30 years ago.

If you're only looking for a place to stay during your visit in Karlovy Vary, and you're not looking for nightlife, just for relax, this is it. It is a very quite place mainly for caravan owners and people renting the cabins, but there are also some spots for tents, which we used. Nice bathrooms, a bistro that closes quite soon (9PM) and a hostel restaurant (till 10PM I think).

Chalez/Bungalow we cleaned the room/bed to get a save feeling at night. Staff were friendly, good food. Nice place at nature, good for dog
