Spa house Kijov, very few people, single room, very cozy, clean. I took my mother-in-law to the spa and at first glance everything seems fine. 😀

Great service, willingness of staff. Proximity to healing springs.

Procedures great, staff very helpful and friendly. Food is a great weakness. Portions small and food tasteful ... well, smeary. The chef was probably in training ... for example, a fish sliced probably with a chisel was not only life-threatening due to the formation of sharp bones and subsequently dried and tasteless. Beer bottle Pilsen.

Praise first. The staff, whether working in spa treatments, at the reception, in the dining room or cleaning, have always been very nice, polite and friendly. The approach to the guests was absolutely perfect. Spa treatments were also in order. The hotel and rooms are very clean, also the dining room. I can't say anything about that. The only thing that would be nice is the air conditioning in the room or, proper blackout curtains. We had a room to the east and in the morning it was a bit of hell. The weakest link in this facility is catering. Breakfast still quite o.k. They are buffet style and quite well. It looks like juice is served for breakfast, but it's a kind of soluble powder or juice. I already consider lunch and dinner almost a disaster. You can only eat water (juice and coffee for breakfast) or pay for beer, cola, etc. You can have a salad from the salad bar. Always two species that are repeated and all loaded in sweet and sour pickle. When the salad runs out, it is not topped up. Food. Although you can choose from 5 meals, but always at least 2 days in advance. We arrived on Monday morning and we could only choose from Wednesday. The meals themselves are a chapter in themselves. Forget about variety. Either they are classic Czech dishes that lack taste, or it is a kind of attempt at diversification that will never succeed. The highlight was when I wanted to lighten dinner and I chose 200g of broccoli and a pork slice. I got 5 pieces of grated (obviously frozen before) tasteless broccoli and a slice of pork in the so-called UHO sauce. We can say that we somehow enjoyed 20% of the food from that week, not counting breakfast. Maybe it would help if five dishes were, for example, one classic (steak, br.salad), then a vegetable dish (vegetable risotto), pakn dish (chicken breast with ham and cheese + vegetables), then a low-fat dish and then maybe even sweet food. Subsequently, I would change the salad buffet so that there will be several types of vegetables individually and the possibility of at least 3 toppings, so that everyone mixes it as they wish. In short, it needs change. Sincerely, Helena Marečková.
