Krásné místo, hlavně klid a blízko hranic

A nice corner of the country where you find yourself right in the places where lava once flowed. Železná hůrka is located in close proximity to the state border with Germany, about 1 km from the village of Mítina in the Cheb region. You can drive to the village of Mítina, from where you can no longer enter and follow the yellow tourist sign towards the border crossing for pedestrians, when about 100m before the crossing we turn right (the turn is marked by an arrow) along the road and 300m we reach the volcano. It's a pity that there is no shelter. The shelter is only at the border crossing on the Czech side.

In Western Bohemia, near Cheb, between the villages of Mýtina in the Czech Republic and Neualbenreuth in the Federal Republic of Germany, the Železná Hůrka National Natural Monument is located near the state border. It is the youngest Czech volcano. It is a very nice place that is definitely worth a visit. I highly recommend.

Very interesting if you are interested in geology

The second rest of the volcano in Cheb. A nice place to relax, although a little badly accessible, but around the field you can walk, anyway the place can be recognized with the roads which is about 200-300 meters from the place. You can park for less than a kilometer and a nice walk to the place is fine. It's about the former border crew. Otherwise, it is close to the border with Germany and can be found there.
