The magnificent Baroque church from the mid-18th century, designed by Anselmo Lurago, will attract you from afar. Colorful, impressive building surrounded by a wall with ornate gates, behind the parish back gate. All in perfect harmony and one of the landmarks of the city.

The Roman Catholic Church of the Finding of the Holy Cross is sometimes referred to as the Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, and is a late Baroque sacral building with two towers and a beautiful facade. Thanks to its size (the church is 47 m long, 22 m wide and 21 m high inside) it is a clear landmark of Dubá. The foundation stone for the parish church was laid on the feast of the Finding of St. Crosses of 1744. It was built in the Italian style by the builder Anselmo Lurage, entirely at the expense of Count František Karel Rudolf of Swerts-Sporck. On May 9, 1945, the building suffered major shocks during the bombing of the city. In the years 1985-1991, a complete overhaul of the entire church took place.
