The Baroque Church of St. Wenceslas was built in 1712 on the site of the original 14th-century Gothic church, which was part of the area of the local Augustinian monastery. This church was completely destroyed during the Hussite Wars.

The original church was built as part of the premises of the local Augustinian monastery in the 14th century (the monastery was founded in 1345 by Hynek Berka of Dubá for monks of the Order of St. Augustine). During the Hussite wars, the monastery was burned down and the monks murdered. Today's appearance of the whole area dates back to the Baroque period, when after the middle of the 17th century monastic buildings were built and in 1708-1712 a newly built single-nave church with a semicircular presbytery and a prismatic tower on the south side of the facade was added. The interior of the church is Baroque from the 18th century. The previous church was built as part of the area of the local Augustinian monastery in the 14th century. During the Hussite wars, the monastery was burned and the monks slaughtered. Today's appearance of the whole area dates back to the Baroque era, when the monastery objects were built in the middle of the 17th century, and a newly built single-nave church with a semi-circular closed presbytery and a prismatic tower on the south side of the facade was added to it in the years 1708-1712. The interior of the church is Baroque from the 18th century.
