It was in 1873 that the Czech writer Jakub Arbes (June 12, 1840 - April 8, 1914) was tried several times in this building of the inn "U vévody zákupského" and later sentenced to eleven months in prison. It is interesting that he was not the author of unwanted texts, he was tried for his position as a responsible editor. He also served his sentence in Česká Lípa. ... The building is listed.

Serving normal food horror. Cold soup. You won't even get gaspaco so cold. The second dish was to be chicken on paprika. And I would describe it as Flour with flour topped with flour and chicken. I didn't expect it to go wrong like this.

Quite a small selection of dishes. The food was fine, except that the pork chop was barely slicable. Otherwise they have quite good prices.
