Lípa v Potůčníku

This memorable tree is located in Potůčník, right by the main road from Hanušovice to Jeseník. On 24 August 1982, this large-leaved lime tree was declared a memorable tree by the North Moravian Regional National Committee in Ostrava, along with other trees and protected areas. Tree height is about 27 m, trunk circumference in September 2013 measured 477 cm. The age of linden is estimated to be about 300 years. The lime tree is in quite good health. Position close to asphalt road II. However, the class is highly stressful. On the one hand, the tree suffers from covering a considerable part of the roots with impermeable asphalt (lack of air and moisture), and the soil around the road is salted through winter maintenance. it was clear during the check that the crown was getting dry over the road.
