Just a short distance from the ruins of Truneček's mill stands (from the last strength) another sad ruin, which - like the mill - should be a national technical monument! Unfortunately, the reality is completely different. Limestone for sugar factories was processed in limestone with Art Nouveau halls from the beginning of the 20th century. The company Biskup, Kvis & Kotrba, which had it under control, was established in 1895 and began mining limestone in Řeporyje. The lime was initially burned in a single-chamber kiln, but gradually a twenty-chamber circular kiln was added and other factory buildings were built around it. Over time, a gravel crusher and a lime mill were established. The quarries and all other workplaces were connected by a narrow-gauge railway with a gauge of 600 millimeters. In the 1930s, more than a thousand wagons of lime were burned here every year. The operation of the lime kiln was terminated in 1968. The 50-year decay of the building was also completed by a fire in 2000, traces of which can still be seen to this day. Just near the dismal ruins of Truneček´s mill, you will find another complete ruin, which - like the mill - should be a national technical monument, but unfortunately, the reality is completely different. In the Art Nouveau halls from the beginning of the 20th century the limestone was processed for sugar refineries. "Biskup, Kvis & Kotrba" company was established in 1895 and started limestone mining in Reporyje. The lime was burned at first in a single-chamber oven. Gradually, however, a twenty-chamber circular furnace was built and other factory buildings arose around. Over time, a gravel crushing plant and a lime mill were also created. Quarries, circular furnaces and dumps were connected by a narrow-gauge railway. In the 1930s, more than a thousand wagons of lime were burned here annually. The lime kiln was closed in 1968. In addition, the 50-year dilapidation of the building was completed by a fire in 2000, the traces of which you can still see today.

Nice walk. It is a short walk from the Prokop Valley.

An ideal film location, unfortunately the building belongs to more people and the communication is tragic. One promises you something, the other will say in a short time that he wants twice. Although they are recognized lawyers, the conduct is very unprofessional and I dare say vulgar. I do not recommend for rent!
