Filmpoint Exhibition

Small but perfectly formed exhibition telling the story of Barrandov Studios and the films made here since it opened in the 1930s. Easy access from the bus stop just outside the main building. Classic films like Three Wishes for Cinderella, through Amadeus to modern classics like Anthropoid, the Mission Impossible series the 2006 remake of Casino Royale. Exhibits include costumes, props, set plans, film equipment and so on. What really makes this is the staff who really went the extra mile, giving a mini-tour of the exhibition! If you book a tour in advance during the working week you may also be able visit the studios - worth considering!

We took a little niece to a themed exhibition of costumes from (not only) fairy tales and I dare say that she enjoyed one of the best afternoons.

Small but certainly nice exposure. We were particularly pleased with the guides who very soulfully explain everything you ask. And - thank you very much - we came early and let us take a tour sooner. I recommend.
