Parkové muzeum Staré Modřany

This is an absolutely original place: an interactive park which is also a museum of a history of Modřany, the city district in which it is located. It is spanning over a large area of new residential buildings from different developers. It is a perfect example of cooperation of architects and 2 investors. I really like the different playgrounds for all ages: playgrounds for small kids, bigger kids and my favourite is the place with “metro” for teenagers and adults :) Also there is a community garden, chess, ninepins (kuželky) and many other games. I wish all new parks looked like that.

There is a rifle with children's elements and maxi sculptures for adults

As good ... better than if they built another house, but I think the locals would appreciate a normal playground, or at least a slide and a few swings, everywhere there runs a pile of small children who have nothing but a sandbox to play .. Instead there would be at least a few game elements for young children (next to bowling ...). As a museum it does not affect me at all.

A little exaggerated and overpaid environment, the park could be done better and more pleasant, I would say that there is one file on the playground, where the grass grows.

If you want to learn more about the history of Modřany, it is a great opportunity to walk. Individual events are described in stops with signs and they are also depicted in sidewalks, including tracks, or as a statue. There's no joke and no lack of everything, like a concrete subway car with fresh graphite. The whole museum is an inspiring proof that even new construction can be nice, fun and useful. As a former employee of Mikrotechna, I appreciated the stopping of this venture with airborne instrumentation.
