I studied here for 3 years by distance learning in the field of business, ending with a high school diploma. When I applied to school, I only wanted the so important "paper". Three years passed like water, and this week I went through the school gate for the last time with my graduation in my backpack. I must say that I was incredibly sorry that this was the end of a great period in my life. Every week, I was really looking forward to Thursday's consultations, amazing teachers and great classmates. So SSGH forever in my heart :) I will always report proudly to this school. Mrs. teacher R.K. and L.P. you are the best !!! For those who are hesitant, graduation can be completed at work and with children :) I am proof of that. But it takes effort, motivation and most importantly ... it wants. Thanks again to SSGH for an amazing three years of my life!
I've been to this school for one year. Sometime half a year ago I changed from cook-waiter (study completed by apprenticeship certificate) to hotel industry (study completed by graduation)
I'll start with the apprentice.
You will be given the opportunity to reserve a seat for a fee. (Everyone had paid this fee, otherwise you probably wouldn't get there.) The first 10 people who paid this fee got a set of knives that when I had the privilege to try them, I found these knives are of very low quality . Furthermore, as apprentices, we could not ride LVK, which on the one hand I understand, but on the other hand, they could do it more to the benefit. I went through two workplaces. I was in a dining room that wasn't written between workstations we were supposed to be working on. There they treated me very well, they wanted to teach me something. At the second workplace I was in a hotel near Florence. There it was completely different than in the dining room. The arrogant chef, if you want to think of something with your head and not with common sense, will yell at you that you are on the apprentice and that you should not think with your head. Then they were joking at the workplace that this school was bad, which I half agree with. The motto of the school "good school, better work" does not apply to the apprentice. Nothing much teaches you, it's more about having a vocational certificate and how you come to it nobody cares. In graduation, it's about something else. Teachers are usually great and the approach is completely different. To sum up. If you want to go to this school for apprentice, I definitely do not recommend. If you want to go to graduation, specifically hotel business, so I can definitely recommend.
I would also like to 'draw your attention' to the incredibly arrogant lady at the reception, who is incredibly uncomfortable and is mainly about having slippers. If you accidentally forget to put a card to a terminal that indicates that you are in school, he will start yelling at you, and immediately apply the card. I have never seen such security at the Municipal Court.
Visit for Open Day. Nice action, pleasant behavior. The school wants to study there
The school is amazing, the teachers helpful, helpful, friendly, what more could you want. They care about the students. Everything can be agreed. I study and I do not remotely a school only problem, on the contrary, I was shocked how perfect it is a school in comparison with other state and private schools. The best school in our country.
Yesterday I graduated from high school graduation at this school and would like to summarize my experience with it.
I would recommend to all who are considering remote learning at this school to avoid it by arch! If you don't do this, get ready for:
- Checking out the marks on the study area with several teachers
- Absolutely unclear study area where you draw materials and tasks if you miss
- acting like children, whether you are (in some cases more than the teachers themselves)
- the same way of dealing with absenteeism (- YES even for distance learning where attendance is not compulsory)
- that you will most likely have to learn that the first year of language learning (when you feel that you have chosen the best school in the world - and that it will pass you a lot in a sophisticated way). say goodbye without any alternative. (Well, no one will talk to you about it)
- memorized mail with promotional messages about job offers in Prague (whether you are from it or not) or school-based courses (whether you are interested in it or not). that mails are sent in bulk - that's not possible)
- that the learning support center works whenever it wants (and you will often be informed by email even if you don't really care about it, because you can talk to most teachers about completing the tests)
- that you often overlook, rarely sent, important information about the latest deadline for documenting one of the millions of "Confirmation" or "Confirmation Confirmation" papers that is usually the next day. (so you will be forced to kick the prop from any distance to take your work off and deliver the document in person)
- that returning the tuition fee in case of unsuccessful study is valid only in the first year, which in my opinion only a very slow individual will pass (sophomore is really harder than freshman)
- that if you are not ready for graduation in the three-year courses, they will let you snuggle in the sophomore so that they do not spoil the tables.
- that the graduation ball will be given space in the main program for the first year and that it is cool for an hour and a half, but the rangers are not entitled to a changing room or ten minutes from the program.
- Inability to park at school if you do not arrive a good hour before teaching (and often fined in bad parking)
- that you will have to pay the tuition for the next year when you are not sure whether you have finished the current year
And finally, at the ANTIQUE BAB at the front desk, who is doing a pentagon out of the school building and is not afraid of screaming you as a kid when you go for a cigarette break and forget your classroom papers or when you are a woman in the ninth month of pregnancy and want to ride in 4. floor of building "V" (where most of the lessons are in the third year) with a lift (for which the lift is reserved)
Of course, this school also has a bright side, but I'm afraid the shady ones don't have a chance to shine.
I would like to stick Mrs. Řehořová, who fought for our class in all cases. Mrs. Hrabalova, who I do not think at school anymore, but wherever she is a woman in her position and I am grateful that I could be a student in her class. And other teachers like Pi. Prof. Kondelíková, Mr. Mikeš and others with whom you can talk and arrange individually.
