Unfortunately, the beautiful Jewish cemetery, founded probably in the first quarter of the 18th century, is currently inaccessible to the public, which is a real pity! Over 300 tombstones have been preserved on an area of 3302 square meters. The oldest of them dates back to 1719. Most of the tombstones come from the 18th and 19th centuries. These are mainly sandstone semicircular terminated stele with embossed Hebrew inscriptions. At the entrance to the cemetery stands the cemetery house and the old morgue, which was once adorned with murals. A renovated and preserved old Jewish cemetery at the end of the game preserve in Uhříněves. The cemetery is not accessible, but the cemetery wall is low, so you can view the cemetery along the entire wall. In front of the back gate is a table with benches and an information board. So you can stop here and read about the sad fate of former residents.
