Beautiful place

Part of the town hall on Masaryk Square in Hodonín is a lookout tower, which is open from May to September to all who want to enjoy a bird's eye view of Hodonín. On the way to the 40 m high observation tower, visitors have to climb 150 steps. A special feature of the observation tower is the carillon, which sounds daily at 12:00, 15:00 and 18:00. Binoculars are also part of the viewpoint. The town hall building was built according to the design of the Viennese architect Ernst von Gotthilf in the years 1902 - 1904 in the style of the Nuremberg Art Nouveau. The tours are carried out by employees of the Hodonín Regional Center.
