How many times do people not even know what they are spending on, where their money is going and they have no back door. I had a pretty similar experience. A year ago, I had a financial plan drawn up, supplementary pension insurance, life insurance, and overall I was somehow more at ease. Knowing that one day you won't get so bad is nice. More people should consider it.
