The well-kept cemetery was established in the second half of the 18th century because the old cemetery at the Church of the Upper Cross was already inadequate. The oldest preserved tombs are from the 70's of the 19th century. In 1805 it was first expanded and the same year it was interrupted by a church in the vineyard. The second expansion occurred in 1945 after an air attack on Vinoř on 25 March 1945, after which a mass grave of unidentified victims was found. In May 1947, digging the tomb on the site of an earlier cherry orchard found fragments and animal bones; it was later discovered that this was the settlement grave of a people of culture with scorched ceramics, so there was a burial ground in prehistory. In the tomb were found also decorated or ungraded shards, flint blade and carbon.
