After 3 days, I was on the phone and it was obvious that he was reading my e-mail, but he was probably waiting for me to speak. He made the canvas in about 3 days - the only positive thing because he promised 5 days. When I came to pick up the canvas for a precisely agreed time, he criticized me that we agreed otherwise and that I was there much sooner. Then he apologized for forgetting my report. (just for introduction) The canvas at first sight (in the dark hallway in front of the entrance to the apartment where I took it) looked OK. At home I found that I had to stretch it again, the edges of the canvas formed bubbles, was stretched insufficiently, piglets bent corners, and a lot of economical layer of whisper. Thus, the canvas has a very rough texture and does not suit the detailed painting. Unwanted holes in the fabric can be seen through the canvas to be properly filled with size / gelatin and whisper. Inadequate switch-off will cause you to see an imprinted blind frame on the front - which of course hinders painting. When selling the canvas, he apologized that due to technical problems he could not print the receipt (even if I did not request it) and I was lucky to remember the price. I was quite glad that someone in my neighborhood stretches high-quality linen, even in the traditional way. However, I imagine honest work differently and I do not understand other people's positive reviews. I had respect for this work, but I found that the canvas can be stretched even at home, it is no science and you know it at least 50% cheaper and quality can not compare. Worst of all, go to the local Hornbach, even there the quality is better.
