Catalonia and Barcelona - sightseeing tour 25.5.-1.6.2019 We bought with friends from CK Firo Tour - organizing CK Ideal Tour. CK Firo Tour knew nothing at all, so she referred us to the organizer of CK Ideal Tour, who, after a long persuasion, told us 6 weeks before departure information about departure times. They could not tell us information about the accommodation (hotel), we only found out after arriving at the place. The travel agency employee claimed that the optional trip to Andorra offered in the program has always been fulfilled so far and that it is more than likely that it will take place this time as well. The guide, Mr. Jiří Pichl, told us on the first day not to count on a trip to Andorra. The journey there is said to be long, the time in Andorra is too short, so it is not worth it, he also handed it to everyone and did not go anywhere. So if you are looking forward to a walk on the levada around Andorra and the beautiful views - forget it. From the guide, I had the whole feeling that we were there for him and not him for us. He knew everything best, so he didn't even bother to listen to our opinion, let alone ask him. We hoped that he might advise us and help us find suitable transport to the places we wanted to go on our own. But Mr. Pichl is really not one of those who would like to lend you a helping hand and give you some advice, let alone meet your needs, everything is a problem, nothing pays off and everything is complicated. We learned all the information about how much to go, how long we will be there, how much free time we get, etc., until the last minute, so it was not possible to plan anything. Mr. Pichl obviously didn't want anyone to deviate from his program in any way, so we were dependent on ourselves. To be fair, I have to blame Mr Pichl for the fact that on Sunday, when we called him at what time he left for Montserrat the next day and found out that we would not be able to return for dinner, he provided us with a cold dinner at the hotel on his own initiative. So in the end, we completed only three of the 7 days with the travel agency, and only because we felt sorry to pay for the transport to the given places again, when the trip cost 20 thousand. We left late, returning unnecessarily early. A classic example was a trip to Montserrat - such a beautiful place where you could spend the whole day and get only 4 hours of time, while only on the viewpoints over Montserrat you will miss 4 hours like nothing, more than before you get upstairs, it will take you about 40 minutes - queue + exit. And I'm not talking about the fact that you might want to see the monastery, look at the Black Madonna (queue for about 1.5 hours) or go see the museum with a beautiful collection of paintings and other exhibits. Instead, we returned to the hotel and were able to swim in the sea, which was approximately 15 degrees. My friends and I went on a trip to Barcelona three times, always on our own axis, the same to Tossa de Mar - for half the price than optional with a travel agency and with a greater amount of time. Of course, we had to find out again how we got there. So if you really want to see something from Catalonia and Barcelona and have an idea of ​​what it should be, then I really do not recommend this trip. When you book tickets and accommodation yourself, you buy them for half the price of the tour and you can invest the saved money differently. During the trip you will be able to see much more and for less money, you can easily get everywhere by local public transport and adjust the schedule to your needs. If you do not know what you want to see, do not mind taking photos from your vacation through the glass of the bus and just need to tick off Barcelona on the list of places you have been, then you may be satisfied.

For the first time in my life, I went on a sightseeing tour with a travel agent, and for a long time it made me believe that it was simply better without a travel agency. We bought a trip to Italy (Antiquity and Renaissance) at INC, which I have always had good references to, but it was a sold out IDEAL-TOUR Prague, which you will not find out during the purchase. The services of this travel agent, and especially their guide, are completely tragic. Namely, the guide Iva Voglová is completely incompetent and completely incompetent for this position. The area, cities, tourist attractions and sights do not know. He doesn't know where he is, where he is, where he is. Where the monuments are, we had to ask the locals. She was confused, her organizational ability, and her ability to deal with the emerging situations almost zero. We spent a considerable part of the journey wandering, searching, waiting for a bus that she couldn't tell when and where to stand. She also often adjusted the program during the day, at a time when not all participants were involved in the information being given, and the subsequent "chasing" of people who waited elsewhere was very delaying. The delay went to hours every day. The information provided was inaccurate, incomplete or completely erroneous. Obviously he knows nothing about the history, geography, and architecture of the places he travels. For example, I learned that burnt brick was invented in the 19th century, and brick buildings in Italy are therefore the result of contemporary renovations. After stopping in Chioggia, about 40 km from Venice, she didn't know where Venice was, where the dock was and how to get there. For some time she even claimed that Chioggia was actually Venice. Although she goes to Italy, she does not know Italian and her knowledge of English is, in combination with her arrogant expression, also quite inadequate. It also behaves aggressively towards passengers, with bus drivers continually fighting fiercely. Failure to recognize the error, by pointing out possible other solutions to the situation, will immediately attack ad hominem. People, definitely watch what you're buying, a lousy guide will spoil your vacation. Avoid IDEAL-TOUR and mentioned guide separately.
