Looking for funeral services is certainly not a hobby for anyone, and when life leads you to this, you are probably not in a state of readiness for anything. Somewhere in the depths of consciousness in such a situation you expect a pinch of compassion, empathy, decency ... even though you are completely foreign to the employee of these services and you are far from the only one. After the appalling attitude of a Central Bohemian funeral service, from which we - perhaps a little exaggeratedly written - had to flee almost so that we did not carry a cruel remorse in our hearts for the rest of our lives, as we had treated our beloved deceased mother - by selection - Prague Funeral Home ELPIS in Kateřinská street. From the first phone call to the whole conclusion, when the members of this company helped us to accompany our mother to the other side, we met only with understanding, respect, decency, understanding ...... Mrs. JUDr. Zápalková and her colleagues Mr. Regina and Mr. Anděl convinced us that even this sad but necessary craft in life can only be done well. They are people in their places, they can listen, help those who remain here, overcome and manage the sad act of the last farewell with those who will not return to Earth. They try to understand, to meet even the not exactly standard requirements, to offer .......... simply help, and at the same time there is no joy in their work. Hello, thank you to the ELPIS Funeral Service for the human and professional approach in arranging the funeral of our parents. The services offered were flawless, with the ability to order exactly what we needed. We could have arranged services that we imagined differently outside the funeral service (eg flowers). Our parents died a week in a row, the funeral of mom and dad was common and if you can say it about the funeral, it was beautiful. I thank Mrs. Zápalková for her sensitive, patient and helpful approach. I will never forget this farewell.

We were seduced into this funeral home by a huge coincidence, when we quickly dealt with the appalling approach elsewhere. We are glad that we just didn't grit our teeth and tried to contact the ELPIS funeral home. They arranged everything professionally. Mrs. Zápalková is a person in her place, thank you very much for her sensitive approach and effort to do everything for the satisfaction of the bereaved, even if it is not a completely standard wish.
