Went there to get a Torx 6 screwdriver that I needed for iMac HD upgrade and indeed forgot back home in NY. They had it and even promised an exchange if the size/type was incorrect. One of the few available places in the center carrying this stuff. Beware: Stores selling Apple hardware, at least the one I visited, do not carry tools for disassembling/assembling Macs.

Great hardware shop. Probably has whatever materials you need for fixing up your gaff.

Yeah, I've been going there for years. It's a pity that it's like a hotel. And it's not what it used to be. There was a hardware store throughout the hotel. I worked there in the boiler room, not the attic. And it's a huge pity. When I saw the photos.
