I don't usually review graveyards, but this is still a beautiful place.

Nostalgic place, large area. There are buried for example famous painter Frantisek Tichy, singer Karel Kryl, journalist Ivan Medek and other interesting personalities. It's worth coming here. There is also a beautiful park around the cluster.

I like this cemetery very much. It's probably his disposition because his terrain is very rugged. After visiting the area of the adjacent monastery I headed here, especially to look at the last place of resting Karel Kryl and others, as is now called VIP. I do not think the burials would say that, and they would not even want that. And when there are shortcuts, one more: R I P

One of the most beautiful cemeteries I've ever seen. It is built on rugged terrain, from the entrance slopes down into a small valley and then slightly rises. It is here, among others. buried Jan Patocka and Karel Kryl. When you visit it all the time when it is dark and look down from the entrance, you will see countless flashing lights and indistinct silhouettes of tombstones - giving the impression of a "city of the dead" seen from a bird's eye view. If you are lucky not to see other visitors, you will feel something like "balancing with life" and "peace of mind". A few decades ago, when the cemetery was closed at night only by a lock on a chain that was merely draped over a metal entrance gate, I used to go to sit there occasionally - I had a special experience of that time. Out of curiosity, I walked up to her door and opened it, with moths inside and a casket on it (if empty, I don't know). There was a chair in front of the coffin, and a few rows of other chairs stood behind it in a semicircle. It seemed as if someone was in all the chairs and said goodbye to the one in the coffin. It was a very strange experience with an indescribable atmosphere.
