The Evangelical Cemetery founded after the announcement of the tolerance patent (the so-called tolerance cemetery) is a beautiful, albeit inconspicuous monument, hidden between the houses between the Bílá Hora hill and the nearby Hvězda game reserve. It was founded in 1784, four years later it was surrounded by a wall. In the revolutionary year of 1848, Prague students gathered here to honor the memory of the warriors who fell in the Battle of the White Mountain. The last burial took place in May 1945. In 2000, the cemetery wall was restored. The place is freely accessible. It is sometimes listed as the smallest cemetery in Prague, but that is the Benický cemetery. The second evangelical cemetery from 1795 can be found in Strašnice. The Ruzyně Tolerance Cemetery is protected as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic. Small, unused, but well maintained cemetery, the second smallest cemetery in Prague. Last Funeral 1945 ..

Nice cemetery, but when I was here last time was quite overgrown and there was a lot of grass, I wonder if anyone will make any changes here. By the way, the cemetery is situated on a very nice place, which is full of trees and you can walk through the gamekeeper's lodge, definitely a nice walk;)
