Roman Catholic Church of St. Wenceslas in the neo-Romanesque style was created between 1907-8 by the reconstruction of the former provost's brewery according to the design of the builder Vaclav Cibula. At the beginning of the 1990s, the church was newly renovated and the adjoining building began to be used by the sisters of the Apostolate of St. Francis as his monastery. The beginnings of the history of the provost's court probably date back to the same period as the establishment of Dejvice in the 11th century. It was the natural center of old Dejvice. Before the Thirty Years' War, it is mentioned as a royal farm. After 1740, the court was burned down several times. He owned about 300 surrounding hectares of land. Today's appearance is influenced by extensive reconstructions around 1800. The complex of the provost's court, including the church, is protected as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic. Small but pleasant and cozy church with murals from the life of St. Wenceslas. The sisters of Františkánka live in the area and take care of the church.
