The old wastewater treatment plant

We didn't know we needed to make arrangements for an English guide in advance, but we took the tour anyway and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a beautiful piece of early 20th century industrial tech. And you can ride a boat through a sediment channel! Definitely worth it. And they do provide you with English text of the tour to read along, if you want.

Well worth the visit with lots of interesting bits to learn including following footsteps of Tom Cruise in Mission:Impossible. Cafe Továrna is a must after the visit.

Nice place full of atmosphere...

A great little hidden gem. If you are a non-Czech speaker, the delivery of information isn't ideal - you get a printout with the English description but some of the points are out of order. Our guide spoke some English so she was able to advise properly which part to read at any given time. Do include the pontoon boat ride at the end, it is worth it! If you arrive too early (the tour leaves at specific times throughout the day), visit the wee cafe inside the building (just around the corner from the main door). It is tiny but cozy and serves great coffee.

Great tour to do if interested in stuff other than tourist traps. My tour was spoken in Czech but the tour guide also gave me an English handout so I could read along. Overall I was very impressed with the tour and the facility and it was really cool to ride on a boat across one of the sedimentation tanks.
