Museum of Public Transport

It is a small museum with a beautifully collections of vagons, tram cars and buses. Tram cars are coupled in sets to capture the period of their long operating life (in some cases 60+ years!). The museum has been declared a cultural heritage in 1998. If you want you can even rent a tram. The Prague Public Transit Company offer sightseeing tram rides with historical, T3 Coupe and Měsícek. The museum is open only during the WE and thursday afternoon and not in winter season.

One of the nicest public transport museums I've been to. It is small and not very rich in exhibits, but it is very interesting. I just didn't like that the visitor can't get on the trams, but it's still worth a visit.

Great place for public transport freaks and kids. Interesting pieces of historical vehicles.

If you love machines, this is the place for you!

Old tram depot with 4 rows of trams and some accessories on display. Good range of vehicles. "Condensed" English language guidebook: Czech signs on the trams say more. One can climb the steps of the trams to see inside then, but not enter any of them. Limited range of tram models and gifts for sale. Moderate interest for children. Toilets. No cafe. No bike parking.
