Muzeum Stanislava Suchardy

The Suchard Museum is housed in his own villa by the sculptor Stanislav Sucharda in Dejvice. The villa was designed by Jan Kotěra, including the studio connected to the villa through the connecting corridor. It was built in 1904-1907. Nowadays, the villa is densely covered by climbing plants, leaving many beautiful details, but the beauty of the villa with a massive mansard roof is visible well. You know Master Sucharda, among other things, as the author of the magnificent monument of F. Palacký.
