Originally it was not a school ... Smíchov burgrave-master Antonín Peluněk came up with the idea to build the District sickness. The Institute was opened on 1 June 1891. There were up to 70 patients, both men and women. He was assisted by a spiritual steward and a home doctor. The municipality, the Land Fund and also the home municipalities contributed to the operation.
