Menzies Lounge

Although the lounge is modern and clean, the food selection is very poor. If you think you're going to eat decent here, you better go elsewhere. The staff here Is "busy" chatting and not really checking on clients. Not impressed.

The lounge itself is a nice space with a good view of the apron, but the food selection is laughable, with cup-a-soups or toast being the only hot options. Best advice is to eat before you arrive, it really is just snacks here. Worth knowing that the lounge doesn't close at 7pm, it stays open until the last flight for it's contracted airlines.

Not food allergy / intolerance friendly; very limited food options available, essentially a piece of a fruit. If coeliac I’d avoid. I fed this back to the staff who were dismissive when I said this wasn’t really BA business class experience... they said the lounge was just contracted to them and shrugged her shoulders. Otherwise it’s a basic lounge by industry standards with no-where to stretch out just upright seating.

Very poor to be honest. Firstly the ladies on the reception were more interested in doing other things than greet. The choice of food was very poor as was choice of drinks. Definitely not value for money!

Food available is very light and basic e.g. packet cup a soups. Power sockets in two different chairs didn't work. Nice and light room though with good view of the apron.
