Church of St. Markéta: the reputation - where the church is today, was a castle, where the daughter of Marketa was born to the Czech king Wenceslas II and his wife Jitka. From the gratitude of her patron, the king rebuilt the castle to the church. History: The first mention of the church dates back to 1364. The church is decorated with a four-renaissance tower ending with battlements. In 1739 the church was rebuilt in Baroque style. In 1865 the church was rebuilt. Lastly, the exterior of the church was repaired between 2002 and 3. I've been here since I was a kid, always nice. Quiet sitting, nice view. I recommend visiting not only the church but also the cemetery.

Beautiful place, just sorry for the interference with nature in the form of a new asphalt driveway. More of these built-up areas and I have nothing to breathe. The end is approaching slowly and surely.
