Beautiful church on a quiet square. Very friendly young pastor.

The church does not make a building, but the parish, the parishioners. There is a very lively parish in Ricany, where I, as I know from the near surroundings, have new people to join quickly. If anyone is interested in the church as such, it basically does not stand out like in Kutna Hora or Kouřim, but there are also several interesting places worth seeing. Especially with a professional tour with a local bar.

Very quiet place if it is not a fair.

The beautiful originally Gothic church is certainly the dominant feature of the square. Today, however, you can see it as it was rebuilt in the Baroque style in 1719, the remains of the portal on the side of the building and the remains of the frescoes recall the Gothic style. At the church stands a baroque statue of St. Jan Nepomucký from 1759 and the statue of St. Wenceslas from 1937. Sit for a while in the shade of linden trees and feel the energy of this place, it is beautiful.
