Municipal District Office of Prague 8

I say wow! I’ve been living in Prague on and off for last 15 years around Prague 6, 7, 2 and 3 and haven’t seen such efficient government office yet! We just moved to Karlin few days ago, I had to change the address and to obtain a parking permission. It took all together less than 20 min. Staff super polite and efficient. Easy access. Czech Republic welcome to customer centric 21. century!😊

I was handling the dog's check-in. The lady was very nice and helpful. Immediately upon arrival, someone noticed me, the lady took me immediately and everything went quickly and calmly. :-) I put one star down because of a hedgehog at the reception in the main building, who talked to her friend for a quarter of an hour, completely ignored me and after my questioning where I can sign my dog, she threw such a sour face at me (I probably allowed myself a lot to disturb them from the conversation). ) that I felt like I wanted something from her.

The fact that the government reduced working hours and thus drove all people concentrated within two days is absurdly comical. However, I must say that the employees of the office dealt with it in number one. They will be very happy to tell you what's going on when they arrive, they will visit you on an ongoing basis and inform you about the condition and they are just trying to make it work. I am really glad that there are officials in our country who obviously enjoy the work and can make a nice day for others and, as a result, for themselves.

Passports, ID cards ... everything goes relatively quickly and without problems.
