Church of St. Anthony of Padua

We loved this church. There is a wonderful nativity display at Christmastime that depicts figures dressed in costumes from around Bohemia, with a Czech village in the background. The whole church exudes the life of Prague in the 19th century. There are beautiful stained glass windows depicting Czech saints and holy sites throughout Bohemia. It is a spiritual history of Bohemia in glass. This church is not in the centre of Prague but it is worth a visit.

Beautiful Roman Catholic church that dominates Prague 7, and just a stones throw from the Belvedere Hotel. At night, this church looks really impressive lit up. Relatively small inside, but has a lovely nativity scene in the build up to Christmas.

Beautiful facade and impressive neogothick altar inside. During the week it's open from noon. I guess mass is every day at 6 pm
