Hotel Chata

Nice place, seems to be family run, friendly staff. My room was clean but the furniture and fixtures were fairly old and worn. Close to the train station but fairly quiet because it's away from main roads and train tracks. Their restaurant was good but I ordered the apple strudel which was ok but was served with strawberry ice cream. That isn't a good match. It also came with whipped cream on top of the hot strudel pieces which looked nice (see photo) but soon melted so it probably would have been better on the side. The main course was good and came with a small salad. Price was reasonable. Good service.

I was here with acquaintances to eat and I was not thrilled. Slaughterhouse soup unsalted and the food (pork on mushrooms) resembled a school canteen. UHO slightly tasteless. Well-tapped beer, Radegast didn't save it
