In July 2018 we were with CK Sunny travel for two weeks in Villaggio Sant´Elia. We chose the place mainly because it was presented on the CK website as really quiet. From the first night, however, we struggled with a dog that barked about 10 meters from the window of our bedroom, especially at night. Although we solved the problem with Delegate Poláková from the beginning, the situation did not change significantly during the whole stay. At our suggestion that we could move to another apartment, the delegate replied that we would not help, people are complaining about crowing cocks there. We were forever sleepless and tired and the last days of our stay we slept with earplugs. After returning from vacation, I filed a complaint with the travel agency. The owner, Mrs. Malá, replied that the other guests hardly noticed the noise of the dog, it is a quiet villaggio, guests are happy to return there and the travel agency is not responsible for the noise. The actions of the travel agency in the event of a complaint are absolutely outrageous. The fact that we asked for redress for the whole two weeks of the holiday and negotiated with the delegate was not taken into account at all. If you are lucky, it is a nice and quiet villagio. However, some of the apartments are located near the land with a dog, whose barking is really very unpleasant and disturbing. With CK Sunny travel we go to Gargáno do Vieste every year (we have been there 8 times). Always in July for an extended stay, not a week or two, something in between (12 days), which we did not find on another trip. Villaggio Sant´Elia has a great location right on the beach, and you can walk comfortably to the town, which has a charming atmosphere. The services on site are always perfect, the delegate Mrs. Poláková knows everything perfectly and will advise at any time. Accommodation corresponds to the description, these are bungalows with a veranda, where it is pleasant to sit. Meetings in the TA also without any problems, fast communication and willingly settled requests. That's what it should look like. And if someone is disturbed by a barking dog, as someone writes below, then it's probably better to spend a holiday somewhere alone .... We also enjoyed our dog and dog in Vieste. I like dogs and two of them run around my yard, but this was quite a force. Next to the accommodation is a garden with rabbits and hens and the dog was there alone for days. He was probably scared at night, so he barked in one piece. Because of him, we took the air conditioning after a few days, because it was really impossible to sleep with the window open and not with the windows closed in the heat either. We didn't solve it with the travel agency, we don't like it and usually it doesn't lead to anything anyway. Italians are lax and waving their hands over everything. The location is otherwise nice, the beach close, to the city center 2 km. But next time we'll go somewhere else.
