The church in Rožmberk is documented for the first time in 1271. The present building is a late Gothic new building from II. half of the 15th century, completed in 1583 (three-nave vault), whose appearance was not substantially influenced by any later construction activity. The dominant feature of the small town, like most churches in the area, is unfortunately only accessible during worship. They are held here on Sundays from 9.30. The Rožmberk church is specific in that it cannot be seen even through the opening in some doors.
