Chata Valkovi - Lipno nad Vltavou

The cottage, ideal for three people, is in a pleasant and quiet environment. The advantage is a garden with a small children's sandpit, fireplace, swimming pool and seating. However, the kitchen without water supply and drainage was very impractical. But we understand that somewhere it just doesn't work out otherwise. Unpleasant imperfections (such as clogged shower waste and dog odor) should be rectified before new guests arrive. Negotiations with the owner were not according to our ideas. Before arrival, we asked for a shortening of the stay by one day. The answer was that we would agree on the spot. The owner arrived only on the third day of our stay, requesting that the remaining amount be paid due to the blocking of the reservation and any lost profits. At the same time, he told us that he usually takes a further CZK 1,500 deposit in the event of a later finding of damage to property (previous information is not given anywhere). In the end, we paid him CZK 1,000 without a document. Such a procedure is non-standard and unnecessarily spoiled the overall impression.

Very nice location right next to the forest. It is about a 7-minute walk to the dam. The cottage is clean, standard equipped, suitable for families with children.

For the third year we have been on a summer holiday at Valků😊 for 14 days, relaxing environment at the forest, swimming pool, barbecue and sitting. Cottage clean and normally cleanly equipped. See you soon 🙋

We liked the week at Lipno near Valek. Nice environment, swimming pool for kids, evening quiet, good facilities.
