A little dead around

The single-nave Empire church was rebuilt from the cemetery chapel of the Holy Trinity between 1831 and 1837 in the originally plague cemetery from 1680, founded in the courtyard of Dolní Košíře by the Vlašský hospital in Malá Strana. The sick were treated by the Jesuits of Prague at the time, and none of the nurses survived the epidemic. From the time of the foundation of the cemetery came the plague chapel of St. Rocha, demolished during the second extension of Plzeňská třída in 1951. The cemetery was also used during other plague epidemics in the 18th century. At the end of the 18th century, it began to be used for the common burial of the inhabitants of Malá Strana, Smíchov and Hradčany, and it was used until 1884.
