Sporthotel Vestec

This place is similar to rooms and facilities you would find in a college or university campus. Yes you can hear people snoring - so bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. The hotel is surrounded by tennis courts and training grounds which I believe are for private use or clubs. The room and facilities are very basic and the food and beverage is very cheap. Don’t try to compare this place to the Hilton hotel because it’s not in the same category. Imagine a motel accommodation in the states and then you will understand what to expect. It’s cheap and cheerful, friendly and convenient. Unfortunately they don’t speak English well but I have mastered google translator which works fine. If you need to travel to the city then public transport is not nearby so I suggest using any cab service. Also if you need a laundry service you won’t find that in this place. Generally there is not much around but it’s peaceful, flat and scenic. There tends to be mosquitoes in the room. The rooms are not cleaned regularly so they dusty and stale.

Reserved 1 bed room. There is no table, had to ask for a chair. wifi in room is secured (reception will give you password). Bathroom kinda smells, probably not being cleaned properly, shower head is rusty, didn't have any soap but found one unpacked behind drawer... toilet seat was missing a screw and was a little wonky. It took almost 2 minutes until I started feeling warm water. They didn't turn on heaters in room and bathroom prior to my arrival. Very small TV and it wasn't even there when I arrived, they literally took it from some other room. Personal is ok, funny people.

Okey roms. Good beds and everything but no air conditioning so had to keep the window open. The shower wasn't clean and had soap from previous visitors, and they locket the door at 23:00 so you couldn't go out to pick up something you forgot in the car.

Really lovely place, and really nice people would definitely visit again.
