Kaple sv. Michaela archanděla

The chapel is located in the village of Mratín and underwent reconstruction. The chapel is in the property of the village and it also deserved the reconstruction. Mratin, a village near Prague. Not small or big. After the revolution, the inhabitants who moved into newly built family houses grew slightly. I, too, belong to those floods that sometimes old-fashioned people call us "newcomers". I live well here and maybe my neighbors. And today we are citizens of Mratin whether we live here for 60 years or 1 year and we live together together. The village has changed for the better since the revolution. E.g. children's playground, new sports grounds, nursery building, bicycle path, gradual repair of sidewalks, a new sidewalk that joined Mratín with Měšice, establishment of municipal police, etc. There are also events for children and adults in the village. Welcome holidays, kite flying, Christmas concert in the chapel, lighting the Christmas tree, welcoming new citizens, Sokol events, Barracks Association, Amateur Theater, annual competition in the preparation of potato salad and others. Yesterday, 27th October, we gathered at the chapel to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Czechoslovak Republic. The leadership of the village, along with Sokoly, Barackers and citizens planted linden, then the children enjoyed a lantern parade. A wreath was placed at the monument to the victims of the First World War. Then they all went to the sports grounds area, where a new book of photographs was mapped, mapping life in Mratin from the past to the present. The whole event ended with a beautiful fireworks. I think we all enjoyed our evening and evening and remembered this anniversary with dignity. Thanks to all who have prepared this event.
