I do not recommend school. For years, you have been listening to the Čakovice Grammar School as a prestigious selective school, the aim of which is to prepare students for university studies. What do you actually know when you apply to a university after studying at the grammar school in Čakovice? Basically, nothing useful that you could use at the university - this school will not allow you to develop in the field you are interested in. A person from school with a background in vocational subjects will have a significant advantage over you at university, and it will cost you sweat, blood and tears to stay at university at all. The school is focused on memorizing the curriculum and repeating lessons, instead of independent and creative problem solving - which are much needed skills for universities. Do not expect to learn with CAD in an optional seminar or directly in class, in programming computers at a reasonable level, in mathematics / physics with mathematical software (Matlab / Mathematica), in art with eg Photoshop, and audio / video editing / image, etc. Nothing like that is taught here. There are a number of teachers who do not enjoy learning, cannot teach, hate students and do not have access to the subject they are teaching. They only go to school for pay because they have to eat. The level of some subjects important for universities is therefore poor. Most teachers don't understand technology. Sarcasm and humiliation of students by teachers were common. Not everyone is like that - there are some professional and human quality cantors trying to pass on some basis and they do it well, but much more you feel the others. It should be noted that a number of capable teachers were expelled from school (by management?). Yeah and slippers! And if you come to school a few minutes later, they don't even have to let you into the building and you have an unexcused class, you student half. While studying at university, I became convinced that it is also possible to teach well so that students can take something from it (ie not shadows on the soul as here). Teachers at the university were academics or experts from industry / practice - ideally a combination of both, all enthusiastic about their field, learning at school often had as a sideline because they enjoyed teaching (they were not so dependent on low teachers' salary), often taught and knew and behaved humanly and correctly. They focused on things that are needed in practice. If someone did not understand something, they did not lower the bar by an inch, but did everything to make the student understand the material. And students and teachers were happy there. Something completely unseen in Čakovice. Some time has passed since I attended school, some things may be different than I describe. The teaching staff has changed only slightly, so I guess where what was left with the old one. Choose your high school wisely, it is 4 or more years of life. If you find out at university that your high school student didn't give you anything and you have to catch up with a huge slippage in knowledge, it may be too late. You have been warned.

Quite a tragic smaller Prague grammar school. Very old equipment, as well as the building. Arrogant and hostile attitude to local teachers who perhaps students treat their own frustration and psychological problems. Capable and qualified teachers will last here for a maximum of 2 years before they find something better ... The school also does not provide a good basis for further studies at the university.

Definitely not recommended! + family atmosphere + School events + Large selection of foreign languages ​​(šj, frj, Latin, Chinese) - poor attitude of most professors - school equipment (PC, projectors, WiFi) - dining room - Teachers do not use interactive whiteboards, even though they are taken there for big money - prof. in biology (arrogant)
