Stánek Ferdinand

A cosy old-fashioned street beer stand / pub / kiosk, all made of wood, with spacious outdoor seating, serving a good selection of beers from Ferdinand craft brewery in Benešov (old city southeast of Prague) + plus non-alcoholic drinks and a solid range of finger-food, at a convenient location near the main entrance to the Holešovice Fairgrounds, with a spectalular view of its art-nouveau tower, directly at the tramstop.

Nice little stand with beers (quite a choice given the format) and some Czech street food. These places are disappearing quickly, being replaced by hipster joints. Support them if you like them.

Best location. 1 week, every evening. Nice service, Nice beer. Everything is nice there. Nice.

The beer was not bad

One star less for missing chicken thighs from the menu. But the pros clearly prevail: a willing manager pours half an hour before the opening, a Ferdinand bomb beer, for good money, not far from the Exhibition Grounds. An oasis of calm down to the road ... 😎
