Rabštejn museum of Střelou

There is not much of Rabštejn there, it is perhaps better to talk to the locals. The trophies do not make sense to me, but they come from somewhere in Africa and the heads of antelopes do not really have much in common with Rabštejn, they probably needed to fill the space on the walls. The terrace overlooks the valley of the Střela River. If you do not mind the higher price, visit, but for those who already know something about the city, it is not entirely. Perhaps at least the historical photographs.

The visit of Rabštejn and its surroundings will never disappoint. Just a pity of the castle and its condition.

Beautiful place, but what the museum offers is quite expensive admission, for schools have no programs, at least according to what I was told at the box office.

Closed. Nobody anywhere. Not even an apology sign.

In addition to local history, the museum offers a collection of historical maps. If you are tired of sightseeing, you can have a snack at the local café. From the terrace of the museum there is a magnificent view of the Strela valley and the castle.
