Easy to find, located on a main road (potentially noisy on lover levels). Close to I P Pavlova where you can hop on a tram or underground and get pretty much anywhere in the city.
Receptionist could speak English well. I was a bit alarmed when they appeared almost too keen to block a payment on my credit card to charge for any potential damage. I would recommend taking pictures upon arrival and reporting any faults.
Otherwise the interior is very nice, definitely different from what you get normally. Facilities are appropriate. Breakfast was adequate - everything tasted fresh although the choice of product is limited. You can leave your luggage in the reception area after checkout, which is really helpful.
Cute place, nice shower, central location, but receptionists are useless. They won’t accommodate you with anything. Good luck getting hold of the management by any means. I was told they have a very busy schedules dealing with other things. The service is based on take it or leave it.
I cannot describe my stay as I could not use this hotel due to the Global Pandemic. But this hotel thinks it is ok to charge customers for a full stay even though we could not enter the Czech Republic as their Government put the country into an emergency lockdown situation and were not allowing anyone from the UK and other countries entry due to the current Global Pandemic Covid 19. I contacted the booking company as soon as my flights were cancelled and the booking company tried on two occasions to contact this hotel but they chose to ignore this and charge me anyway. This is not acceptable Avenue Legerova these are not normal circumstances and this was not just a no show at your hotel, this is a situation way beyond my control when we couldn't even enter your country at this time. At no time did you contact myself or the booking company you ignored emails and just took money from my account the day after we should have had our holiday.
Didn't get a receipt while checking out after requesting one, and after checking my credit card bill, I noticed that there was an additional charge for a "broken lamp". Nothing like this happened, and I immediately sent an reclamation to hotel. They refused to remove the cost, so I handed the issue to my credit card company. After credit card company investigation, I've been refunded by the credit card company.
Do if you want to avoid this kind of hassle, I suggest to select other hotel.
Horrible experience.
My partner and I were excited to stay in this hotel for our trip to Prague. We had seen online lovely photos of the hotel.
First of all, when checking into this hotel we asked for a room with a king sized bed because that’s what we originally booked, the receptionist said that we could have that. When we arrived in our room it was 2 single beds put together with TWO duvets. Not what you expect, especially as a couple. We asked for extra pillows which they apparently didn’t have as they were fully booked, strange they don’t keep spare pillows...
Second, on their website it says they provide laundry and dry cleaning services, they DON’T! My partner asked for his shirt to be dry cleaned and the receptionist told him this was not possible. They also claim to have bar, which they don’t, just a place only open for breakfast. Also “soundproof” windows, which is a lie. We were kept up with sounds from outside and sirens (which cannot he helped, but don’t claim to have soundproof windows when they aren’t)
Thirdly, on our last night we asked for more coffee, the receptionist said he didn’t have any and we can use the machine (we didn’t have a machine just a kettle) he said that EVERY room had a coffee machine, but a different lady claimed the night before some rooms do and some rooms just have a kettle, so which is it?
Housekeeping cleaned our room and the duvets were still wet; so we had to hang them out to dry.
The lady behind reception was rude to my partner on several occasions.
Overall this hotel is ok if you just want somewhere to lay your head, but wouldn’t stay again and I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.
