Took several knives and I got them back the next day...all of them sharper than when they were brand new! Very reasonably priced and friendly service. Help support local business and stop by for a visit. I will definitely come back again.

I had all my knives sharpened by Mr. Ulrich, and I am completely satisfied with both the quality of the work and the speed of sharpening. Mr. Ulrich was very willing to sharpen all my knives the same day (there were about 6 of them). As a second order, Mr. Ulrich made me a handle for one of the knives. With the wood on it, he was very willing to help me find a store to buy and the result is really a work of art. The knife is much nicer than ever. Thank you very much!

So I have never encountered such an approach to the customer. I am very disappointed for me, I certainly cannot recommend Mr Ulrich. To be precise: when I arrived, I was received by a quite nice lady, who asked me what I wanted and whether I would wait half an hour or pick up the order another time. So I said I'd wait. Mr. Ulrich didn't even greet me. He literally took a knife and went to sharpen it. It wasn't until he released the grinder that he noticed that the knife was broken, which, of course, the lady taking over the order knew. So I told Mr. Ulrich that I would like to repair a knife the way I have a similar knife from the same company. Mr. Ulrich told me that he does not do it according to the way customers want it, but he does it according to his own feeling. So I said that if it's my knife, it's also quite an expensive knife that I want to fix it so that it has the shape I want and not according to how Mr. Ulrich wants it. So Mr. Ulrich told me to pack it up and go have it done somewhere else. So: not to greet the customer, not to take over the order properly, to start doing something that the customer does not want, to arrogantly say that I do it my way and that I am not interested in what the customers want, it is really not a fair deal. Interesting is the reaction to this review, which is mostly false. It's just that the store staff offered me to do the work while you wait. And the review says I insisted. Otherwise, Mr. Ulrich probably doesn't have much work to do, because before I took it his turn, he literally talked about the policy with the previous customer for about 10 minutes. In the review, he writes that an order that lasts about 30 minutes cannot be made while you wait. Although this is what the store staff offers. Otherwise, for clarification, Mr. Ulrich offers knives for sale in his departure. These are knives for about 200kc, poor quality. Apparently he's used to sharpening such knives. Bring him a knife for CZK 200, then I wouldn't care how he repairs it, but if I bring him a knife for CZK 5,000, I really care how he will be repaired. Fortunately, it turned out well, I found a company that uses the most modern equipment (not a pile of old scrap like Mr. Ulrich), has a clean beautiful establishment and the price is the same. Of course, I can't compare the quality of the final work, because where Mr. Ulrich is just talking, others will do a perfect job. For interest and as proof of how Mr. Ulrich in response to this review can and states that the knife I wanted to repair had a broken tip 3-4 cm, I enclose a photo from which it is clear that the broken tip has only 9mm. It is then Ulrich but an expert that confuses 9mm and 4cm. I'm glad I finally left.

My hair scissors sharpened while I was waiting and they cut great. Plus for a good price. I recommend 👍
