Antonínovo pekařství

The best bread I've ever had in Prague. Tasted so good while fresh and even better the next day. Bravo! Antonin has become my bread of choice.

I generally like Antonín's bakery, but in Smíchov it seems kind of sloppy to me. The cakes are rather average, the famous spreads are unflavoured and most importantly, the coffee! That's big bad. Only according to the machine, on which the operator just presses the type of coffee drink and he prepares himself, it is possible to estimate what the resulting taste will be, and that's it. And even in the back, where they prepare it "a little more properly", so not automatically, it's no glory, it would want either a better machine, grain or a good barista, who will take care of it nicely. For me, no coffee better than bad coffee. I have not had such a problem in any other Antonín, it's a pity, because the interior is great and the service very pleasant. So hopefully the management will decide to invest more in Smíchov :)

Hello, after opening I was satisfied, but lately I have been getting pastries, especially the sweet (peeler, Christmas) old, dry. the buns do not last until the next day. I would welcome, or pastries that lie longer on the counter at a discount, or at least a warning that it is a sale ??? I definitely didn't see fresh products after lunch.
